Biography

Valerio Lorenzoni is an aeroacoustic engineer graduated at Delft University of Technology in 2008. He got a PhD in systematic musicology in 2019 at Gent University. The main focus of the latter was developing and testing music-based biofeedback systems for sport applications. 

Before the PhD time he worked at Siemens Wind Power in Copenhagen on reduction of wind turbine noise. Beside this he has been working on 3D printed saxophone mouthpieces at Delft university of Technology in 2014 and 2015. 

On the side, he is a saxophone player and has been touring with his band L’Chaim in and outside Europe. Climbing is one of his favourite sports.
